Refund & DOA Rules
Effective Date: March 1, 2026
1. Nature of Product
We sell live ornamental betta fish. Due to biological and perishable characteristics, all sales are final except verified DOA claims under this policy.
2. DOA (Dead on Arrival) Eligibility
To qualify, you must meet all requirements:
- Unbox immediately upon delivery (avoid heat/sun exposure).
- Record a continuous unboxing video from opening the package to the sealed bag.
- Do not open the sealed bag if fish appears deceased (opening voids the claim).
- Submit claim within 2 hours of delivery confirmation.
- Provide clear video + photos + order number.
3. Refund Scope
- Refund covers fish price only (verified DOA).
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Refund will be issued to the original payment method.
4. Non-Returnable Items
Live fish are non-returnable for biosecurity and animal welfare reasons.
5. Delays & Customs
We pack fish to survive 5–10 days under normal conditions. Delays due to customs, weather, or carriers are outside our control. DOA claims still require sealed-bag evidence and timely submission.
6. Chargebacks & Fraudulent Disputes
By completing the purchase, you agree to this policy. Unauthorized chargebacks without valid DOA evidence may be contested using: order records, delivery confirmation, and policy acceptance proof.
7. Limitation of Liability
Maximum liability is limited to the fish purchase price only.
